A new price list just came out from the cannery with increased prices.
According to the new price list from April 4th, many food staples
have increased by more than 20% since the last price list came out just 3 months ago on January 3rd.

Now, I don't know if the prices are rising due to gas prices or inflation, but it gets you thinking about the future.

Mission Oak Ward, Let's Get Prepared!
For those just starting out:
1) Basic 72 hr kit completed
2) Make a realistic plan for food storage and follow it towards a 3-month supply of food; 2-week supply of water
For those already started:
1) Have an updated / rotated 72-hr kit; emergency cash saved
2) Add a 3 months supply of food to your current food storage.
~As a ward I know we can move forward with our Emergency Preparedness and become more ready for the unexpected. During the next 6 months you’ll see more opportunities to strengthen your knowledge about food storage, along with opportunities to increase your food storage such as trips to the cannery. Keep a positive, can do attitude it will propel you towards success. The time has come to be prepared and it’s easier than you think. It’s just so important not to put food storage off, let this be your “Someday” and grasp this opportunity to make progress. ~
